Kyiv, 9 June 2025 — The Blagomay Charity Fund and the HR Brand Award Ukraine have officially announced the launch of a joint project to raise funds for a neonatal ambulance for the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Centre. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the heads of both organisations as part of a partnership initiative aimed at giving the most vulnerable — newborn children — the chance to receive timely and safe medical care.
“The HR Brand Award has always been about people and the humanity of business. Today we take a step further — about life itself. Children are our present, not just our future. I invite the HR community to join the fundraiser: together we can achieve more than it seems,” said Larysa Onypko, Head of the HR Brand Award Ukraine.
Why is this important?
-
Increase in premature births during the war. Owing to stress, shelling and shortages of medical resources, every tenth child in Ukraine is now born prematurely.
-
Time is critical. For premature babies and those with complications, every minute counts: rapid transport to a specialised unit dramatically improves their chances of survival.
-
“Resuscitation on wheels.” The specialised neonatal ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices and a transport incubator, ensuring stable conditions during transfer.
“We signed this memorandum not for formality, but for life. In these challenging times, the country must act proactively: a fully equipped neonatal vehicle is a chance that cannot wait,” emphasised Kira Syrotenko, Chair of the Board of the Blagomay Charity Fund.
How to get involved
The business community, HR professionals and all concerned individuals can support the project financially or by spreading the word. Donation details are available in the “Help” section of the foundation’s website.
The HR Brand Award and the Blagomay Charity Fund are convinced that caring for people means caring for the next generation. Our shared goal is to ensure that saving a child’s life depends not on chance, but on timely assistance.
Together we can do more. Join us!
