Chernigovskiy orphanage for children was established in 1997 , and in October 2011, on the basis Chernigovskiy orphanage for children opened the center for socio - psychological rehabilitation of children in which can accommodate up to 50 children who have been abused and in need of psychosocial care. The duration of stay of children in the center to 9 months.

In the institution there are children from age 3 to 18 years who found themselves in difficult circumstances, abused and in need of psychosocial care.

The main objectives of the center are:

• the implementation of social protection of children, conducting socio-pedagogical correction taking into account the needs of each individual, facilitating the return to the biological family;
• ensuring children's attendance of General education establishments;
• the formation of children's own position in life to overcome habits of antisocial behavior;
• providing psychological and other assistance to parents (or persons replacing them) of children in the centre, aimed at the return of the child, development of individual recommendations;

For a comfortable accommodation during your stay in the Centre for children set up and operate a quarantine group (which for the first few days are the children who came to us), a group of kids aged 3 to 6 years, boys and girls. In accordance with the sanitary requirements each team has its own separate room for training and games and sleeping rooms. The employees of the institution are trying to make the baby room comfortable, bright, with a taste that children felt care and love, feel comfortable and relaxed.

In addition, the school operates an Assembly hall, a gym, a classroom for self-study to school, dental office, medical unit, psychologists, dining room.
